A Weekend of Faith, Sisterhood, and Purpose – Women’s Faith Retreat 2025
This past week, seventeen incredible women and I traveled to Hocking Hills for a Women’s Faith Retreat — an experience that will forever hold a place in my heart. From the moment we arrived, God’s presence was so tangible. Every conversation, every laugh, every quiet prayer was filled with His peace. We spent our days surrounded by His beautiful creation, diving deep into the Word, sharing testimonies, and encouraging one another in faith.
One of the most powerful moments of the entire retreat was witnessing eight women publicly declare their faith through baptism. Watching each of them step into the water with courage, surrender, and joy brought tears to everyone’s eyes. It was a sacred reminder of God’s transforming love — the kind that restores, renews, and brings us closer to Him. Those moments of worship under the stars, hands raised and hearts open, felt like a glimpse of heaven right here on earth.
Throughout the weekend, we shared meals, stories, and so much laughter. We hiked through the hills, prayed over one another, and created memories that will last a lifetime. What began as a group of strangers quickly became a sisterhood — a family bound by faith and love. We came as individuals, but we left as one body in Christ, strengthened by the connections only God could have orchestrated.
I am truly blessed and honored to be in a position to plan and host retreats like this. To see women encounter God, build lasting friendships, and rediscover their purpose fills me with so much gratitude. More than ever, I feel certain that I am stepping into the calling and purpose that God has placed on my life — to create spaces where women can rest, reconnect, and be reminded of who they are in Christ.
This retreat wasn’t just a weekend away; it was a revival of the heart. My cup is overflowing, and my spirit is renewed. I’m praising God for the incredible women He brought together and the beautiful ways He continues to move through sisterhood, surrender, and faith.
